The Mako Shark (mako meaning shark or shark tooth) is a sacred fish because of its status as "king of the waters". Its streamlined body is built for speed and power through the water. The teeth of this endangered species are often long, bold and unique when compared to many other shark species. The Mako Tooth can grow to over 3 inches long and in some cultures has been used to make jewelry and tools for many generations. The Mako Shark Tooth necklace is carved as a symbol of victory and power.
Each Bali Necklace is hand carved on the tropical island of Bali and shipped from the USA. Because we use 100% natural materials, there may be some slight imperfections in each piece. See our workshop.
- Carved From: Repurposed, Water-Buffalo Bone.
- Pendant size: Approximately 1.75 inches (4.5 cm).
- Cord: One size fits all. Adjustable, bamboo cotton (choker up to 26 inches).

Got my Sharks Tooth Necklace in the mail. I love it!
Very well made and awesome! My only complaint is it won’t stay laying flat it keeps turning the wrong way. Constantly having to untwist it.
Just opened it today. It looks great and the bone tooth is a nice size. Great work by the carver.
I just received two mako shark necklaces and they are perfect!
For those who read the write - ups , especially as to the size of the tooth , you will not be disappointed . In fact , some real teeth can be larger than our necklace.
Four different ones came in this order to add to another two previously purchased.
Each one is a piece of detailed art .
The best part is that we are helping the coral life to prosper .
